Donna and the service team welcomed us. Fit in our AC repair, and got us back on the road home, cool and comfortable. A few weeks earlier, we had taken our MB to Another dealer (about 2 hours south on I75). To check all systems, levels, to make sure we were ready to cross the country. They had car 4 days, and charged me about $350… End of May in SW FL and they never checked AC. Told me “I should have held a thermometer by vent”… I will never go back to them, MB Sarasota is my new dealership, even if I have to drive 2 hrs north to get there!

I was taken on-time. I was asked if I wanted a car wash which I passed on. I had been told the repair would take approximately an hour. The repair was completed and everything wrapped up in less than 30 minutes. While I did not purchase this vehicle from the Sarasota Mercedes dealer, it is very likely that I will purchase my next vehicle from this dealer, assuming I purchase another Mercedes. Overall I was completely satisfied and would recommend this dealer.

5/27/2023 - updated review as Glenn was spectacular with getting my car serviced. It was notated to turn my service indicator light off. Everything was good about this visit however they don’t wash your vehicle like they used to but overall great visit this time. Typically I don’t have issues however when my car was serviced on 5/14/2022 and the Service Due Notification was left on. Please be sure to turn your car off and back on after you pick it up. I live 20miles away from the dealership and had to drive all the way on since they has to be turned off at the Service Center. I was offered a free car wash (it wasn’t washed when serviced) for the hassle of being inconvenienced and having to drive 40miles both way for their mistake.

Aside from the $550 service B price tag, which included an oil change and air filter replacement, I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. Everyone was very pleasant and professional and service was very fast and thorough. I especially liked the visual tour of my car sent to me after the work was completed, letting me know the condition of the parts and such.

My service representative, Lisa was very helpful in providing service required. She also answered all of my questions regarding car service in Canada. She provided a ride to my home and back for the length of the service. The driver was very friendly and competent. The service was completed in a timely fashion. An all around 5 star experience.

Scheduled my 1 year service for the morning, had a loaner, was able to grab it, get to work, and the work was done within 2 hours for me to pick my car back up and head to the airport for a flight. Taylor was fantastic and made the whole process so smooth and easy.

Overall , I have had good service since moving here in 2019: my most recent service with Micheal was great. The shuttle service on the drop off part was good too as I was originally told I would need to leave my car overnight. I had to call back to get the ride back needed to pickup my car as they finished in one day but I had already planned for the overnight so dropped it on a Saturday understanding it would be Monday to get it back. I called midday so I could get my car back. I don’t mind using the shuttle service but would like to get followup when told it is going to happen.

My 2021 GLB is approaching two years old, 12,000 miles and the expensive B Service was recommended. I have always followed the recommended MB service schedule, but $800 seems excessive. Still, the Sarasota service was prompt, my GLB running great and I am ready for summer travel.

Purchased my Mercedes at this dealership and I would not call it a real Mercedes Benz dealership as it’s owned by AutoNation. Research this company and dealership before spending your hard earned dollars! This dealership is a joke! Bad customer service and business practices. I refuse to get my vehicle serviced here. For example: My car needed service and I was told no loaner vehicle available (I have never been given a loaner at this dealership) in the past 5 years so no surprise there. Be sure your MB parts are replaced with (OEM) Original Equipment Manufacturer parts which is the same design and specs that the manufacturer uses and not after market parts that might not be the best quality and more of a benefit to the dealership. Pay attention to what you sign…you could be agreeing to after market parts and don’t even realize it like I did. 👀This is just two example of many bad experiences that I have had here. Just go to Ft. Myers or Tampa at a REAL Mercedes Benz Dealership that provide high standards of excellence and don’t need to worry about how you and your vehicle is treated. Or, in my case I am probably going to sell my MB and get an Audi or BMW. Problem solved!

I brought my 2018 GLC in for service A and could not be more pleased with the customer service. My service advisor Steven Apollonius, is so awesome. I travel from Punta Gorda to Sarasota, a 2 hour round trip and do it because of the great customer service. Steven is so professional & kind explains all of my questions and provides options. On the particular day I was in for service there was a major accident on 75 South and Steven checked the road conditions before I left so I would know the best route to take back home. Also, the waiting area is comfortable & clean! Thanks to all the Sarasota MB team!

I went there to see a car I found online and they were nice right from the start. I worked with Karrina Wischki . She was friendly and when it was time to get the value of my trade she had super bad news for me!! She handled it like a champ… let us leave super sad to digest our news. They really gave me piece of mind about what happened and helped to make sure we were very comfortable with what we were purchasing on all fronts. It was a calm process. Didn’t take long. No annoying music playing in the showroom. Was a simple and easy car buying experience. She has a great personality and I think was a big part of what made me decide to not go anywhere else!! I bought a used Honda Odyssey from these guys on 5/12/23. The whole process was complicated by unnecessary crap. Papers that were emailed to me were sent as a picture (jpg) of 3 documents lined up on a desk instead of a pdf. I had to point out to the sales person that I couldn't sign a picture of documents. They didn't tell me they didn't take outside financing until the day before I came down and after I had secured my loan. Turned out that wasn't true because I did use outside financing. They knew that I was flying from out of state to get the car, but they didn't mention that my wife and I BOTH had to be here to get the car until after I had booked tickets and there was no room on the flight left. This was not communicated until 2pm the day before. The explanation was reportedly due to my financing through my bank USAA. I had to re-do my loan through USAA last minute because of this. They also pitched a fit about my bank paying them via direct deposit despite that being faster. Most of these hurdles and excuses appeared to be designed to force me go through the dealer financing. Once I arrived there was only one key, which they refused to help me get a second despite this being a 2023 car with only 1700 miles and the previous dealership the car was at was in this dealership's extended network Autonation. They told me it was a CPO through Honda since it had previously been certified as a CPO at the Autonation Honda. Once I arrived, that turned out to not be true. I was then told it was certified CPO through Autonation. That turned out to not be true either. Overall, wouldn't do it again. Edit: To top it all off they removed the back windshield wiper and didn't replace it.

Mercedes of Sarasota took very good care of my GLS450. It had an electrical issue just prior to a planned trip and they got it in and repaired the problem the same day I called! It took less than an hour for them to diagnose, repair and clean my car. All done on time and very courteously. I will be using them for all of my maintenance needs in the future.

Buying my C43 AMG was a pleasant experience. The service Dept is efficient but I live over an hour away and they never seem to have loaner car available unless you make your appointment over a month in advance. Not sure why but a huge inconvenience when this is suppose to be one of their perks….hummmm. Twice now there hasn’t been the loaner car available. Is this no longer a Mercedes perk?

The inspection process turned up a nail in a tire (5th since IAN). Set up in the waiting area with my laptop, coffee and fresh baked cookie from their self service bar. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle with approximately 34K miles at this time. In spring 2022 I noticed an unusual noise and vibration as well as aggressive shifting of the transmission. I have an 7 year extended warranty contract with Endurance and I scheduled service with Sarasota Mercedes. I was assigned Lisa Gillespie as my service rep and she has been wonderful. The original diagnosis was to replace the transmission and torque converter which was done. Six weeks later the same noise and vibrations returned. I returned the vehicle and was told it was a faulty torque converter which would be replaced at no cost. Four weeks later the same noise and vibrations were eveident. I returned the vehicle to Sarasota Mercedes and this time I was told that the transmission cooler was leaking into the transmission. The vehicle was in service for almost 3 weeks where the transmission was flushed 6 times, the cooler replaced and another torque converter was installed. I am currently having no negative issues at this time, the car runs just fine. My question is was this the problem all along and it was missdiagnosed? The warranty company has covered the costly expenses of a transmission and torque converter however they now, refuse to cover the costs incurred recently, approximately $1600.00. A significantly less amount than the $9300.00 for a new transmission. I am frustrated with the diagnostic services provided by Sarasota Mercedes and feel that "replace and repair" is the mantra. I am hopeful that this recent repair will allow me to enjoy this beautiful car.

I would rate my experience as a “10” with a blue ribbon and 5 gold stars. My sales consultant, Alfredo Poletti, is the absolute best! He is honest, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. He made the process so easy for me. And the same goes for Steve Kern, the General Manager. What a class act! Steve is excellent and outstanding!!! I brought my car in for annual service, paid 640.00. I drove the car and my brakes failed. Immediately called the dealer who told me to return, the car screen said j was out of brake fluid. Called the dealer again and said hey be outside and ready for me. They said ghee was a bubbie in the fluid. I came back 2 weeks later as the check engine light was on. The dealer said to wait 2 days which I did. Anyway on checking the car they said my rear brakes were in the red. Two weeks before they said the brakes were fine. They then charged me 700.00 with a 20 percent discount because of the fluid problem. I did call the manager of the service dept but he did not return my call. I thought the r brakes should have been replaced at no cost.

My car was left for service on a Wednesday. The following day I talked to my service agent, Steven Appollani and he explained to me that there were several things to be done and the estimate for repairs were over $7000. I explained to him that I would not do anything at this time and that would pick up my car. I called him back the following day to see if I could get my car back, left a message and he never got back to me. After that I left several messages during a period of 4 days at the service desk and on his direct line and never heard of him. I called the service desk the following Monday and found out that finally, my car was ready for pick up. I forgot to mention that I also left a message for the Service Manager and never heard back from him either,

Aside from selling a great product Mercedes Benz of Sarasota just made the the whole experience of shopping for a new car enjoyable and less stressful then it might have otherwise been. The sales staff are knowledgeable and not pushy. They listened to what I had to say and showed me the vehicles I wanted to see not what they necessarily had to sell. They kept me posted during the manufacturing process and even directed me towards an app that enabled me to track my vehicle as it came across the Atlantic from Germany. After collecting my new vehicle the sales associate contacted me after a few days to see how things were going and to offer his continuing support. I really can only say good things about this level of service. By the way this is the 5th Mercedes I have owned.

We just purchased a 2019 C300 Cabrilolet from MB of Sarasota. They didn't have one of these models in inventory so it was transferred in from another dealership in the Auto Nation group. We were a bit concerned until we saw it. Beautifully prepped and ready to go. Our sales advisor was Tucker and he couldn't have been more professional or helpful, including follow-up after the sale. We have also been contacted by others in the operation. An excellent experience overall!

Purchased a pre-owned, certified 2019 Cabriolet convertible. I noticed a small imperfection on the first day of ownership. I contacted my salesperson and was assured they would be contacting me quickly. Waited a couple of days and then received a phone call from the service department to schedule an appointment for them to inspect the reported issue. When I arrived they took a look and said I would need an appointment for the repair. They were booking 10 days out so I now have a 2nd appointment for the repair. I guess I wasn?t prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for service on a vehicle I just purchased. I am also waiting for the title and license plate/registration as they didn?t have that ready when I picked up the vehicle 3 days following my purchase date. So, although everyone was friendly and helpful, I am surprised by the wait time for resolution and finalizing my purchase.

It would appear that they are very short staffed. When I pulled up to get my car serviced, no one came up to me to let me know if I was supposed to wait in the car, leave the key, or go to the service department. I literally had to flag someone down and ask them. So, the initial experience was not very welcoming . Once you went inside, there was no one there either and no one to say someone will be right with you. I didn?t feel that there was any personalized service with the exception of the driver, who gave me a ride home, Charlie, and the service advisor Donna. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions that I had. There was not a lot of communication to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle, which was there for three days. I had to initiate almost all of that communication.

So we went to Sarasota to pick up our GlC300w4 ordered in January. It sat at the vpc in Brunswick until after the 12th when Mercedes released the cars with wholesale prices to dealers. Our sales rep Bill Z. called and told us it arrived Wednesday, so we made a date for Thursday. Overall our experience was great! We spoke with Brian T. the sales manager before we went over with a few concerns and he said not to worry they would make it work! When we got there Bill met us in the parking lot and we were treated very well. He’s a nice guy and wanted us to be thrilled with the car. This is the only 23’ GLC they’ve received yet and they had it in a sales bay with a bow on it…ala Lexus. It is beautiful! Bill patiently took us through all the changes and functions and when he didn’t know something he found us the answer. Remember this is a first 23’ for them too. When we returned to his office we went through the pricing and the offer on our trade in which Brian made work for us was well over our first offer. In the end, we compromised on a price that was very agreeable to both of us. During this time, Steve K. The General manager, stopped in and introduced himself. He offered his delight in meeting us and anything he could do to help make our experience great. I was somewhat skeptical going to Sarasota knowing how great we were treated in 17’ and these are different times, but in the end they were wonderful and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to be treated extremely well and fair in their car buying experience. our 23’ is the pinnacle version… a much quieter cabin than our 17 which had acoustic glass. The engine seems quicker without any lag. The trailer hitch is a 1 1/4” receptacle and does have the plug for electric.The driver assistance package is great ( it literally drives itself on the highway) and the parktronic is good albeit a little slow. All usb connection are usb c, so an adapter for our flash drive ( dashcam) and our iPhones/ iPad is necessary. Our all season mats from the 17 still work, but the fit is a little off and the 23 doesn’t have snaps. The burmaster sound system is great, though we rarely listen to music while driving. The HUD is extremely useful! So far we ( my wife) loves her car. I hope you all are as thrilled as we are with your car and your buying experience.

First time visit to this dealership. When we arrived no one was there to greet us, no attendant. Numerous cars parked with no idea where to park our vehicle. We got out and had to ask a customer where to go and what the procedure was. Pointed in a direction and then asked an employee standing in the lobby where to go. He left to ask and find the name of my assigned service manager and finally expected service was provided when directed to him. Thereafter, service was expected MB quality although no loaner cars available. So first timers need better assistance there.

I came in with my '18 AMG GTc with a wheel noise. Lisa my Service Rep was excellent and put the lead tech on the project. We drove the car together so he can hear the sound for himself as it was quickly discovered. Within 2 hours I was on my way. they addressed the situation and recommended service (tires) for the near future without any pressure. I will be back as I had an excellent experience!

This used to be my favorite dealership. I had bought 6 cars from them before and the buying process was always good. With the latest car the experience was subpar to say the least. The car (brand new) was delivered with stains on the interior and some minor scratches on one of the doors. You just don't think about these things when you buy a new car. It is expected to come checked for damage and impeccably clean. Especially from a dealership like Mercedes. Especially when it is such an expensive car. So I only noticed it after I signed the papers and took the car. When I brought this up, the dealer took the car back to buff out the scratches and promised to apply a $1000 ?ceramic? coat at no charge. They kept it for one week! When I got the car back it looked even worse than before. The scratches were not buffed out, no ?ceramic? coat and some wax stains on the doors. I had to bring the car back a few weeks later and all this for a procedure that only took them a few hours! Still, no ?ceramic? coat at the end. I had to remove the stains on the interior myself eventually. On top of it, this car apparently needed to be broken in gradually over the first 1k miles. Nobody told me that. It seems like a pretty important piece of info that the dealership should be conveying to the customers. Also, when I made the initial deposit I overpaid by accident and the finance department told me that the excess balance would be applied toward my loan principle. Two months later, still no credit on my statements. Emailed and called Jason from finance for a few days, left multiple messages - no response. Had to call the sales person, who finally tracked the overpayment. Apparently the finance forgot about it. How convenient. They eventually issued a check for this amount but if I forgot or assumed they took care of it, the money would have been gone. Anyway, Mercedes, you definitely can (and should) do better than this.

Was told when I made my 9:30 appointment for a recall it was a 3 hour job. I live in Venice so my wife and I made plans to do a few things in Sarasota while car was being repaired. Came back 4 hours later car was not completed or even being worked on. Had choice to either wait there another 4 hours or come back tomorrow to get car. Really wasn’t a lot of my time.

Had my S550 into this dealership two (2) consecutive years for a power steering rack issue that ended up being related to rodent damage. The first time it happened the dealership replaced the wiring free of charge after discovering it, after initially telling me that the rack itself would have to be replaced. This year both the wiring and the rack itself needed to be replaced, and I was made to go through my auto insurance to have it fixed. My sons Cadillac, and my girlfriends Range Rover Sport share the same driveways with me, and have had no rodent damage. I did a bit of research and found that Mercedes now designs their cables with soy based materials, which attract rats, so the fact that my car has been eaten twice is more or less by MB design, as they apparently care more about the environment than they do about my ability to steer my car continuously for 1 year straight. My service Manager and his Manager acknowledged that they see this a lot, and were laughing when I asked for an inedible cable. I submitted a complaint to MBUSA, one which I had to continuously follow up on, as they weren’t proactive at all, and after contacting me this AM, they informed me that they don’t see a problem, and are not considering reimbursing me for my $750 deductible, or the 3 + weeks that I was without my car between both incidents. My issue isn’t necessarily with the dealership, although if they are quick to acknowledge that their cables are attractive to animals, they should have in my estimation been my advocate in the complaint. Mercedes can make their decisions, and for me it wasn’t really about the money anyway, rather the inherent safety issue that their design decisions have caused for me and for my family. My time to make a decision will be when I need a new car, and Mercedes then loses this particular argument. I also plan to blog about this everywhere that I can to ensure that other folks considering a Mercedes are aware as well. We all get to make final decisions eventually, and a consumers decision is way more impactful long term to your bottomline. Service and reliability used to be the hallmarks of owning a Mercedes. Sad.

We recently purchased a pre pwned C250. One of the tires lost air repeatedly. We drove the car to Tire Kingdom to repair what we thought was a flat tire. Turns out we had three dry rotted tires and were advised not to drive the car until replaced. We had the tires replaced. Coincidentally the service manager texted us to see how we liked the car and offered assistance to any problem we had. We explained our situation and to our surprise the manager offered to help offset our costs by reimbursing us $500.00 towards the cost of the tires. This was a classy move, one we really appreciated. Obviously we highly recommend this dealer to anyone interested in a pre owned vehicle. 👍

I received a notice about a callback on my Mercedes RV. I called to make an appointment only to find out the were 3 callbacks. I made an appointment and they said it would take approximately a week. 3 days later I received a text that it was complete. I met with Shawn when I arrived. They do all they can to make your experience great. On a side note, I own a construction company, I had to stop there to check on my car, I was dirty, and probably looked broke, lol. The only person who acknowledged me was my service guy. I walked around the showroom looking at some cars I may be interested in, no one even gave me the courtesy of asking if they could help me. They need to be careful, not to judge a book by its cover. That being said, the sales guy Peter, and the service guy, Glen are awesome! They fixed my car,.. then, after driving it home (45+ miles), I went to drive it the next morning and noticed a strong gasoline smell. The car wouldnt start, I popped the hood and attempted to start it again and found a large fuel leak where they didn't clamp a fuel line. Mercedes sent a tow truck and it went back to be fixed again. Two weeks later my AC stopped working, I drove it back, and found out the compressor had failed, another warrantee repair.... The service department does a great job, mistakes are made but that is life, Glen is the true hero there! He is on point and extremely attentive to his clients.

Booked appointment for scheduled A maintenance. Waited 3 weeks for an open AM Saturday, I work during week. Dropped car at 9:00 AM was told it takes about 2 hrs. After no call from advisor at 3:30 I called service and was informed it was going in next. Not happy needed the car back by 5:00 due to reservation at 6:00 of course I show up at 5:00 not ready but advisor was more interesting in the survey I might receive being I wasn’t happyI did receive review but opted not to take it because I had nothing good to say. Fifteen days after service I notice oil leaking from my car, called dealership got the typical well it’s very busy today let me ask the manager? After being on hold I was told bring the car in at 1:30 it was 9:30 when I called. My wife headed to the dealership on a beautiful Saturday afternoon 3 hrs later they said it was the washer on the oil drain plug. She was told it was defective? Please, never replaced the first time it was old when local mechanic looked under the car. 400$ later 2 wasted Saturdays 400$ to have the oil cleaned off my driveway pavers and not even A I’m sorry…

Had an appointment to get the oil changed on my vehicle and left it there early to make sure it was taken care of, when I came back at the end of the day, they haven’t even looked at the vehicle. I had to leave it until the next day and I was assured that it will be taken care of. The next morning, after numerous calls and messages left to check the status of my vehicle, no one called me back and I ended up without transportation for 4 days. Finally, when I went to pay for it the price was much higher than what I was quoted. It was a terrible first experience.

The team reserved our car with a CC deposit, we made arrangements to fly into Sarasota and arrived exactly on time for our appointment. The test drive went as planned, but a few things weren't perfect on the car and they hadn't noticed these (black marker on the car, a couple dings not disclosed.... examples). We then had to wait in line to buy the car. Context - one "business manager" that day and several customers....all buying new Mercedes. So guess where the priority was?! We made it clear before we flew into Sarasota that we were immediately getting back on the road to drive home....and we were delayed more than 2 hours. That's awful when you made an appointment and flew into town. Oh well.... All this said, the facility was top notch and friendly people. They all apologized profusely for the delays, but it didn't change anything....we were there for 3 hours. Anyway, the car selection was good and good value. They process the plates on site (a Florida thing) so that was good. All in all, a decent but not great experience. (And the car is terrific by the way!!)

Made an appointment back on 1-24-2023 and because it's a motorhome we had to wait until 3-14-23 to get in. Over time we had 3 wheel speed senors replaced. Mercedes would not replace the 4th sensor until it failed. I wanted to pay to get the left front sensor replaced but mercedes wanted 500 dollars to replace that sensor!!! We called mercedes corp and said this is a safety concern, all we got back was a run around. If this sensor fails we can lose control of the vehicle. I called the service manager at sarasota mercedes, Jim Foulkrod, and he took care of everything. Thank you Jim

Going to a car dealership should never feel like you're going to the ER, you're not sure what's going to happen and you don't know how long you're going to be there. My wife and I experienced that at another Mercedes dealership but after finding the vehicle we wanted at the Sarasota location we discussed the situation with their GM Steve and he assured us he would do everything possible to make our experience worth while. We arrived to not 1 , not 2 but 3 smiling faces. Jason was the first to greet us (their Finance Manager) , then we met with Blake (he was our Sales Consultant) and finally Steve. Instead of having to deal with a long drawn out 5 hour process, we were out of there in 2.5 hours (that was after trading in our vehicles as well) The overall experience is what you would expect from a luxury car brand. You can get a loaner if reserved a month in advance - don't know how you would fairly know in advance that you would need one. My service representative, Randi Doyle, is the best. I’ve been buying cars for 45 years or more. NEVER have I worked with such a decent, honest and professional group than my salesman Tucker Kittle and his senior sales management group. A problem developed, and they jumped on it to solve it for me, going to exceptional lengths that I never would have expected or even asked for. And on top of all that? The most frustrating experience ever buying a car!! Purchaseds online, showed up with cashiers check in hand and had to wait for 3 hours to take delivery while they were running numbers? WTH? We have an agreed upon price, tried to get us to buy extended warranty at $10k. Finally get in the car, driving home, look down and I have a half of a tank of gas. Seriously? The car has not been cleaned, and I wonder now if they truly even serviced the car. But I am a true believer in Volvo cars and will take to a reputable Volvo Dealer.

I first would like everyone to know from the beginning what has happened. My husband purchased a Mercedes SLC 300 for my birthday back in February 2000. I have taken it back for its yearly check up to the Mercedes dealer in Saint Pete Florida. On January 31 I was bringing my husband home from the hospital in Sarasota and it started making this horrific screaming noise. For an hour and a half we had to listen to that. When I got home turned off the car and it was still making that noise it took about 5 minutes before it stopped. Call the dealer in Saint Pete I explained what was going on. I was told that they were slamed and would not be able to see me for it least 4 to 5 weeks! I waited a couple days figuring maybe it would stop but every time I drove it it made that same noise and each time I drove the car and pulled in my driveway and turned it off it would still make that noise each time a little longer. I I called the Mercedes dealer in Sarasota and explain what was going on they stated I could have an appointment on February 17 to address the problem. It took me about two hours to get to the dealership and when I pulled in the car stopped making that noise. My advisor Lisa said she would drive it around to see the car would make the noise!!! Of course it didn’t!!! I called my husband and he stated for them to pull the panel off the door because that is where it was coming from the speaker on the driver side door. Lisa refused to do that she said if we do it’s gonna cost you $290 an hour for them to check it. I told herI spoke with receptionist on the way there and she heard the noise please check with her and she refused to do that. Needless to say I was quite upset and I left!! Drove all the way home and no noise! The next day I had to go to the store I didn’t get out of my driveway and then we started back up again I called the Sarasota dealer and I spoke to the operator and she heard the noise she put me to the supervisor of the maintenance area. I think he said his name was Sean but he did call me back within five minutes I offered to turn the car on for him to hear the noise and he said that wasn’t necessary but for me to bring it in on March 1 and they would definitely look at it and take care of the problem. When I drove it there on March 1 it still made a noise I had my advisor who was Steve and he also had another gentleman with him who was supposed to know all about Mercedes. They were as surprised by the noise. He asked if they could close the door and I said sure and it still made a noise they then so can we turn the car off and of course I said yes and it still made a noise the gentleman asked me how old the noise keeps going after the car is turned off and I said the last time I timed it it was for 20 minutes. They stated they were going to keep it until they fixed it which they did it took a little over a week. They rectify the situation my car is running great. I do have two problems number one with a Mercedes dealer in Saint Pete and the first advisor Lisa who refused to do anything to help me. Yes I would recommend Mercedes in Sarasota if you get the right advisor.

I brought my 2015 G550 truck in for A1 60,000 mile service it has never had a scratch one it and was damaged after service. We had soup to nuts done on the truck. It is a collectors item. The last naturally asperated V 8 engine that now needs a rear bumper completely repainted. Service Manager never called with words of apologies for the incident. Apparently the car jockeys are not qualified drivers. I have been to the AMG Driving Academy, maybe they should all take lessons.

I bought a Sprinter van and they could find it. I clearly pointed it out and the staff dismissed everything I kept trying to tell them. Very insulting. Degrading. I redid this post because the general manager called me and was excellent at helping correct my concerns without brushing me off. I appreciate being validated when I am right. Customers believe or not are not often right. Most times they fly off the handle emotionally charged and then blame the person or company I am guilty as well. However the corrective response was excellent and I am a fan of this dealership now. Yes I would recommend buying here.

I think the service consultant treated me with respect and received an estimate of my service. My biggest disappointment was the discrepancy between the estimate provided for the basic service and the actual bill. Some additional costs were related to additional work relative to leaks, which is understandable, but in reviewing some of the charges, I felt the labor costs were too high at just about 80% of the $5,200 invoice. There were some costs that I felt were nickel and diming me to death like disposing oil waste fees. I do understand this is all part of the cost of maintaining a high end dealership and will have to consider a lower end vehicle purchase complimented by a lower price dealer cost in the future.

We were satisfied with Bret, he was the service man that oversaw a recall for speed sensors, and a transmission flush. We were not happy to see the warning symbols come on for the abs and two other symbols, on our way home. I called Mercedes of Sarasota this morning telling them about the problem. From what I read on line, this is related to the speed sensors. We have been getting this sprinter ready for a trip to Missouri to pick up our Granddaughter, for Thanksgiving. We were scheduled to leave in about a week. I'm hoping this can be taken care of as soon as possible. It would have been 5 stars, if not for the problem of warning lights coming on. The van shuttle ride home and pickup at my home the next day made it easier… Good communication and I was surprised they sent me a video msg from the mechanic that did my “B” service which was great. In addition I purchased 2 new Pirelli tires with balancing and that was not a problem. They are also on the main Mercedes system so they could see my prepaid services from when I purchased my Mercedes in Georgia. Also they offer good extended warranties when your warranty runs out and can extend up to 7 years I think… I recommend them….

We had an appointment Wednesday the 22nd of February when we arrived a gentlemen greeted us and we parked in the line where he directed us to go we left our keys in the car and went inside to wait. after 2 1/2 hrs we checked on our car and it wasn't even started to b worked on. My appointment was made for oil change, multi-point inspection, front wheel alignment, & new tire mount, plus battery check, as vehicle sat for 2 weeks, & I had to jump it to bring it in. Was told when I made the appointment that they could do it. When I got there, I was told. they could only do the oil change, battery check,, & inspection,because their rack isn't wide enough for dual wheels, & they can't mount a truck tire on a aluminum wheel. Waited 2 months for this appointment, & drove 1 hour to get there. The service manager was great, & apologized for the inconvenience, & covered the the bill. The multi-point inspection showed everything was good, & battery must have charged backup driving there. I got home, decided to re-check the battery, & charge it up more if need be. The Sprinter battery is under a metal plate under the driver's feet, which is secured with 4 Mercedes tool only, hex-type Allen wrench bolts, that were fastened so f----ing tight, that I can't get them out to check, or replace the battery!! Thanks-Mercedes!

I work at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and our department has an aging Sprinter 3500 Workhorse Van that needed some attention, Freightliner would no longer service the unit. 2/16/23 I purchased my 2022 E350 from Mercedes of Sarasota and they came through again with flying colors. I live in Tampa and had an unusual problem with my E350. I took it to Mercedes Benz of Tampa and, after keeping it all day without giving me a loaner or any update, they concluded they could not diagnose the problem. I drove the vehicle home at 7:00 that night. I called MB Sarasota the following morning and Jim (service manager) personally asked me to bring the car to them and that they would take care of it including providing me a loaner. I drove to Sarasota that day and Jim and Tony (chief mechanic) were waiting for me in Jim's office. Tony had already remotely diagnosed the problem and shared it with me upon my arrival, having already ordered the part. I left in a beautiful MB loaner and returned a week later to pick up my vehicle all taken care of. I was so thankful and impressed with their excellent service that I brought Jim and Tony each a Bordeaux. This is not an anomaly. It is simply a culture of excellent service.

After my first time with this location, I couldn't say a lot, but it was OK, than I had couple not nice situations here, but I have to update my review, because I have to say, that I had very good experience here today. I came without an appointment and they were treated me at the highest level. It was safety issue in my car and service manager Scott took care of everything. I am writing about Scott, because without him, I would be sent home by the advisor, but my new advisor Thomas is also very nice and doing good job. Service team fixed my issue within 2 hours with car wash. I am lucky, that they could do it. Big thank you!

While vacationing in the Sarasota area from Iowa, we had a rear suspension airbag punctured on a Saturday. Mercedes Benz of Sarasota was just minutes away but was very busy and could not schedule a repair until the following Thursday. Special thanks to Christina at the call center, who partnered with the service manager, Jim, and worked us in on Monday, had the parts in stock and repairs completed the same day, allowing us to leave to come home as scheduled on Tuesday. The service advisor, Shawn Barnett, made the process smooth and efficient. The shuttle driver, George, was great. Very much appreciated the video walkaround they offer to present the problem remotely without having to be in the service department. We vacation there often and will definitely return to them for service when needed. Very nice facility. Thank you all so very much!

Over charged! I have been in the dealership twice in the last week. I thought the first bill seemed high —but it’s when I had the second appointment that I dug deeper and realized I have paid twice the amount— I received a service for $650 that I priced at 2 other service departments—-the estimates came in at $300—then I needed 2 tires—-the appointment was a bit chaotic—I was quoted 1500 for 4–I only needed 2–i again agreed to have them order 2 tires—when I received the bill for 2 tires—my bill was $1100–this was high and not what I was quoted—after reviewing—I received the exact same tire estimate from 2 other facilities—coming in at $600 installed—exact tire!!! This is twice in one week I paid double—I will not return and I will advise my friends and neighbors of the practices of our local Mercedes of Sarasota. What’s a shame is that I expect to pay a bit higher than other shops and would have done so—until it seemed so extreme— Unhappy customer.

Took my 2020 GLC 300 in for warranty service and had a great experience. Brett was my service advisor. Despite being very busy, he was courteous, helpful and informative. My wait time was 1 1/2 hours and my car was washed and serviced right on time. I also spoke to James in Finance about an extended warranty and he was very helpful and provided answers to my questions. Additionally Kyle Hunter, in sales helped me program the technology since I am the second owner. He was very patient and helpful. All around I would recommend this Dealership for your Mercedes.

After an unfortunate experience of a tire blowout in the middle of nowhere, I was able to get towed to MB of Sarasota. They were already closed, so I left my car in the designated area. They sent a text first thing the next morning, opening a line for communication. They provided frequent updates and sent an Uber to my hotel once the car was ready. Beyond thankful for the kindness, understanding and quick resolve. Highly recommend this team in Sarasota!

They told me it was too soon for the yearly service and I got a email 2 days later saying it was time. And they said my seatbelts were fine. They were not. They said this after the took car for a test drive. They retract but then you have to feed them into the car. So I called the manager and told him and they ordered me some and told me that soon as they come in I would get a loaner. This was their mistake and I was told they were in but I couldn’t get a loaner for almost a month. Mind you I live a hour away. I called another dealership and got an appointment with them. There is no way I was going to give them any money. They will never have my business

I decline, came back with a check from my bank at 5%. I say this because not only did I get a better offer but even with a check it took me 5 hours to get out of the dealership. The finance guy wasn't to pushy with the warranty options. He asked a couple times but I was firm and said no. He left it alone. Overall, I think the transaction took way to long since I had my own financing and check but the salesman was great. I also got a good deal on my purchase. As for my trade in. Not the best but not the worst.

Brought my AMG GLE 43 for service jan 24 as per 9am appointment. We suspected something was wrong with the tire ( hubby told them it may even need a new tire). Didnt hear back from them at all, we called and spoke to service person at 2:20 pm and was told car was just in the shop then and that customers who wait for their cars at the dealership have priority over customers who leave their car there regardless of appointment time. Was told they would call back when they looked at the car and should have it back by end of day. No apologies for lack of follow up or feedback. I phoned back at 6:50 pm and was told car was in shop but no one was there to assist me. My husband went to pick up the car this morning as nothing had been done to it at all and we heard nothing back from the dealership. Service guy said situation was with the service manager now, who we have not heard from either! Mercedes and Auto nation ( whoever auto nation is) will be hearing about this terrible service! We are Canadian and my car was purchased in Canada, but we also did buy a used car from then to leave down here at our vacation home. We might have been understanding if we had received followup/feedback or a phone call at least once during the day or evening. Don’t go there for car service!

The dealership is great looking and clean but check in did not go as planned. I waited weeks to have a loaner car, but they ran out of loaners with the person ahead of me. They did accommodate my request by getting a car from Enterprise at their expense. That took extra time to wait for that. Enterprise brought a Ford Mustang for me to drive, kind of fun but I'm only 4'10" and it didn't fit me to see over the hood and drive safely. Because I had a loaner, my service appointment went to the end of the line because others were there and waiting for service. I ended up keeping the loaner car overnight.

My tire had a slow leak which needed fixed. I called Mercedes Benz of Sarasota at 10 AM and they made an appointment for me at 1:00. My service advisor Glenn took my info and showed me the customer lounge were I could observe the technician work on my car. I couldn't believe the quality care the technician provided. Besides repairing the tire he checked all the tires, did a recall check, reviewed a list of check points and topped off the fluids under the hood. When done my car had been washed and dried. Wow. I was just happy I could find someone to fix my tire but I got the royal treatment.

I brought my Smart car for 2 in for service and I also had a problem with turn signal on the right side back . They changed the bulb but no one checked to make sure it was working. So, I had to bring it back another day. They changed the bulb again, and said it must be an electrical problem. E Well that’s why I went there. He said the car is ready it is on the other side of the wall. So , I went there opened the door and the front seat had been moved and the battery was sticking out , they didn’t finish the job. I went back in the building and told him everything is still apart. His reaction was totally uncalled for. He said, I didn’t notice it. It is to small .The poor fellow who was working on it, was looking for the car so he could put it back together. He was with a client and thought it was very funny. I hope I never have to go back there.

I was on vacation and arrived in Sarasota. On the way to check in to the hotel, my GLE 53 got a flat. I stopped by the dealership and explained my dilemma to the service manager. I've been coming here since I moved to Sarasota in 2020, and I'm usually satisfied with the service and turnaround. However, this last trip has me seething. I called service to see if the weather stripping on my driver side window can b fixed and is under cpo warranty. I found out I had to actually stop by the dealership to get this answer. Ok cool. Appointment made. And it STILL took 2.5 hours for them to tell me 'no, it's not covered'. Absolutely absurd!

Smell of gasoline in/around car and oil leak in garage made me call Mercedes immediately. Although the first person I reached told me to drop off the car for repair in a week's time, I requested that I talk to my regular service person since it's an emergency. Steven understood the situation and advised that the car be towed to the dealer, but I said I'd drive it myself. Google only allows you to give 5 stars, but Sarasota Mercedes earned 10 stars with me! I have been searching for the perfect EQS for 6 months and finally found it online in Sarasota. Karrina took me serious from the moment that I called and helped me get everything I needed to make the decision remotely. She coordinated everything for me and setup time for me to come complete the transaction. They were ready for me when I got there, and even though I was early everything went perfectly! This was the fastest and best car buying experience I have ever had. If that was the end of the story, then it was a 5 star experience. Somewhere along the lines there was a pricing error, but the dealership and I had already signed on an agreed price. Instead of making a big deal out of it, they honored the price no questions asked. The earned my trust and I will be a customer for life, even though I live 250+ miles away. I will never buy another Mercedes anyplace else. Trust and integrity seem to be in short supply these days and it was a pleasure to find this entire team absolutely brimming with professionalism. Took RV sprinter van in to have 2 recall updates made. Service was done well. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that it was assumed by the mercedes service agent that because I said I could "drop off" the RV, I could leave it there for days. My assumption was that this meant that I would not have to wait in their lobby. We are full time RVers which meant we would have to find hotel accommodations. LESSON LEARNED: Always inform the service rep that we will wait on site for our RV. Hopefully LESSON TAUGHT: when a customer says I can drop off the vehicle, always explain that means that they may want to keep the vehicle for a few days. I was accommodated but only with stressful negotiation.

The car is great. The dealer service not so much. During the required first annual service they failed to adjust the computer to stop the “need service“ notifications from continuing to pop up each time the car started. Calling the My Mercedes number was useless. I am sure they could have told me how to turn it off. But, they insisted I needed to take more than an hour out of my day to drive to the dealership to fix it. To their credit after I raised hell they sent somebody to my home to make the adjustment. But, I shouldn’t have had to be a jerk to get proper service. Not a pleasant experience. The problem is that the Sarasota dealership has no competition within 50 miles if you want the brand. I have a friend who switched to Cadillac because the local service was so much better. Mercedes should rethink using Auto Nation as their franchise dealership in SRQ.

When we next needed to use the car on January 2 it would not start and there was a huge puddle under the car. Told him what was wrong then grumbled and said show me. I guess he did not want to get out of his chair. Next I got sign here that was it. When I came back to pick up the car he handed my keys and said sign here again told me no charge then told me you car is outside. Not in the service drive . I went off to find my car. They assign you an account manager who makes sure service is scheduled as needed and that everything runs smoothly, including reserving a loaner card if needed, letting you know estimated time service will take, and advising of any repairs up front. My manager, Steve, is the best and goes above and beyond to help with questions. Their pricing is competitive and their waiting facilities very comfortable. Unfortunately for the first time in all my visits there I encountered a rude employee when returning my loaner vehicle on 12/6/22. I stood at the desk for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement of my presence whatsoever and finally had to ask if he was aware I was there. He said yes and he was in the middle of something. He then went back to what he was working on. This is the one and only time I have ever encountered anything less than wonderfully courteous customer service. I would highly recommend this dealer to family and friends.

It was a bit disappointing that when I dropped my car off that the two young men who should have either signaled to me or come over , but instead they continued talking. I had to ask if I was suppose to pull up. When i returned for my car I tried to signal to the young man bringing it up to stay before the overhang. He brought it under and then told me to back up. When I told him what I tried to do, he just looked at me. A bit disturbing.

As usual, I had an excellent service experience. Though my car had to be taken by flatbed on Sunday evening, Taylor called me Monday afternoon to report that a problem could not be identified. When I insisted that the car wasn?t driving properly, she willingly agreed to keep it for another test run. It was during this test run that the problem - a failing power steering pump was identified. The issue was resolved & by Wednesday, I was on my way in a repaired, freshly washed car.

On our way home, we got a flat tire ... only place that could help us and was close by was Mercedes Benz in Sarasota. We called at noon and the friendly receptionist was able to get us an appointment at 2 pm. We drove on the run-flat tire to Sarasota and when we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and helpfulness. Keep in mind that the repair center was very busy too! Our tire was changed and we are super happy with everyone's help.

Was told the service would take at least 4 hours, so I would need to drop it off. When I ask about a courtesy car, was told the first available car was like a month and a half. I understand the shortage of vehicles but it creates problems for me to have someone take me to the dealership and bring me back to pick it up. I also own a 2013 VW beetle. When I have it serviced the dealership provides a loaner or courtesy transportation to take me home and pick me up when service is complete. I guess I just expect more from from Mercedes!

We are snowbirds so take our 2014 C250 in once a year for an oil change and other maintenance items as needed. I can't imagine a dealer being any better than this one. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. My service advisor Brett is extremely knowledgeable and they only do the work I have requested. The facilities are A-1, they even have a quiet office area with computers and wi-fi. I had coffee twice and each time staff offered to help show me how the machine worked....excellent coffee by the way. The visit is as pleasant as it can be!

As always, the service advisor Brett was terrific and kept me posted on a daily basis. The only issue I had is that the problem I had should have been identified and resolved when the vehicle was there a month ago for a related problem. If working on the fuel pump of a car, you would think that someone would check that the float was operating properly so that the gas gauge is accurate. Running out of fuel when the gauge still shows plenty of gas could have caused a disaster on a major highway. Expected more from Mercedes.

Twice I have brought my car there and both times disappointed . The first time I had a tire that needed repair . They told me they could do it in two weeks. The lady and I don't know her name was not rude she was Nasty . The second time I had my car towed there. That process went well. When I came to pick up the car he had me sign some forms that he never gave me a copy of. There was a very visible check washer fluid warning that nothing was done about. Said something about a recall but did not explain it. My drivers side seat belt is clearly defective. nothing said. When "Concierge" brought me the car he told me it it was parked under a tree. Car was filthy dirty. Car wash was offered but by that time I just wanted to leave . The only reason it wound up at that dealership was because Roadside Assistance which took 6 hours to get there wanted to charge me $400 to tow the car where I wanted it to go. A car dealer friend once told me that cars not bought at the dealership do not get the same service as those that were. Maybe Mercedes shoud put that in writing in the waranty.

Have tried to telephone a sales rep continually and was put on a never ending phone loop. Had new tires put on. One does not hold air for more than 2 days. Had to drive to dealership because “no one answers the phone. Once there, was told I had to wait TWO weeks to get service. Two weeks I have to drive around on a tire that will not hold air. Shame on you! You should have taken care of me asap… that day! I guess once they have your $1100.00 for new tires, any problem is my problem, not theirs.

The check engine light came on my car so I stopped in on a Monday to see if anything could be done. Randy advised me they would try to get to my car but could not make any promises. I totally understood since I did not have an appointment. Well, they did get to my car and fixed the issue. Not only that, they performed the service that I had previously scheduled that coming Wednesday saving me another trip to the dealership. Randy was very polite and helpful throughout the process. When I went to pick up my car, a customer in front of me was complaining her car was not washed. Even though Randy explained there were issues getting the door open, the customer kept complaining (in an entitled manner, in my opinion) and Randy remained polite and professional throughout the conversation. I would like to mention the gentleman sitting at the first service desk was not too helpful and was more interested in his cell phone (it could have been a work phone to be fair). This first impression was not great, but Randy quickly turned that around.

Our experience at Mercedes Benz of Sarasota, I had a lazy intake person whose name was Chris Robinson. The only thing he did was return calls. I have to add we had car shield and that was a nightmare but that wasn’t our fault. My car was at Mercedes-Benz for two months because they weren't receiving the right documents from Mercedes-Benz. but what I didn't like about Chris was Car shield did not pay them for three labor hours so what he did was charge us for the three labor hours that Car shield did not pay him for. Then something else happened to the vehicle when it was at Mercedes-Benz he said it got wet inside we had this car for two months it has rained and we never had any problem with water getting inside the car I’m just thinking he said that to get money from us. People please check out your Labor hours with this place cause they would tell you it takes 4 hours and it only takes 2 hours. So before going to pick up our car he said water got inside of the vehicle somehow so when we came to pick up our vehicle he never could show us where the water came in at he wouldn’t even get off his butt to show my husband where the water came into our car my husband asked him to show him where water leak in Chris wouldn't show him! Chris took three labor hours from us because CarShield didn't give it to him! So we had to have Progressive go out there to look at the car and when Progressive went out and Chris told Progressive it takes less than an hour and then he told us it took four hours so he stole three labor hours from us that her couldn't get from car shield but car shield told us to be careful when we go get the car causes Chris might try to charge us for 3 labor hours and he sure did just that! that's called stealing and made my husband pay for it and he would not get off his butt to show my husband where the damage was I really thought it had something to do with skin color cause why he treated my husband so bad that he did not want to show him where the damage was and he told my husband oh it’s somewhere you can't see it and my husband not going to see it.but he would not get off his butt and show my husband where the damage was and we didn't have that problem before I think that is bad I don’t think he could of treat nobody else like that. so I went in I spoke to the supervisor which is Jim and he took care of everything and he gave me another service advisor which was wonderful but we are still having a problem with the car that we never had before. I had to take the car back again to them! This has been a very bad experience. I hope Chris starts treating people better because he has no customer service Experience. well he wasn't good with us and we were nice to him. it’s just sad that everybody can’t get the same treatment... Lisa Gillespie is an awesome service advisor. She responded immediately to my need to reschedule my appointment due to hurricane Ian. She explained the service charges in advance and the maintenance timeline was met. On the down side, the loaner that I used had been tarnished by a previous smoker and it was not pleasant. I suggested to Lisa that the leadership team including the loaner manager create an extensive "Do Not Loan" list to create accountability in the contract. I can only imagine the deterioration in the value of a vehicle when this happens.

First, this review is not meant to "not recommend" mercedes of sarasota, rather its meant to point out an issue and my recent experience with service. I had a small interior trim piece fall out in passenger foot well. I brought the vehicle in and asked them to fix it during an oil change or some other maintenance service. few days later the trim fell out again, so I came back and pointed out that it's not fixed. advisor looked at the trim and said that since there is glue on it, they would not be able to do anything. said that I should not have tried fixing it myself or put any glue on it. well, I did not, they "fixed" it by gluing it and then blamed me that I did it. anyway, I spoke to another advisor and explained the situation, and she agreed that it should be replaced under warranty. when I came in again to get it fixed that advisor wasn't working and I asked them to look into notes, surely everything would be explained there. I waited for nearly 2 hours and was told again that since there is glue on the trim, they cannot replace it and I would need to buy a new one. what a waste of time. not only my time was wasted but the incompetent advisor's who couldn't just tell me ahead of time to talk to same person who didn't make any notes from my previous visit. I was told that someone would give me a call to resolve this but to this date nobody called, instead keep getting emails to write a review. so I did. otherwise service can be organized, quick and comfortable, not sure what gone wrong here.

I had my car towed because no one ever answered the phone due to their phone system issues. My car was there for 3 hours and no one had called me to even inquire why. I had to call and check on my own car. The service tech they assigned to me since my person was gone never once called me or communicated with me about my car. I had to get the service manager involved. Even then she still never communicated with me. I get word I would have my car back the next day and it took them days to call me for my car. Worst service ever. I don’t want to hear the excuses of being short staffed. I too was short staffed but still had to interrupt my work day to inquire about my car because they weren’t doing their job. Unacceptable.

I very rarely give a maximum rating so don't feel bad. Sales was very good, smooth, professional. The only improvement would be to pay the dealer DIRECTLY for a vehicle and not have to go through all the baloney of getting a loan and so on. An altlernative would be to hold a vehicle on the lot, either with a downpayment or deposit while the funds could be wired.

Recently had my car at AutoNation Collision Center for a repair. While there the battery and the rear SAM died. Car was taken to Mercedes of Sarasota for SAM replacement and calibration. Took my car in for service and the rep we were assigned dropped the ball completely and I went to the dealership to pick up my car and take it to another dealership. After meeting with Jim, the service manager, my husband and I agreed to give them another opportunity, I do understand that things happen. I had ordered a vehicle from a competitors dealership in December of 2021. After being promised the vehicle would be delivered by May of 2022, when August of 2022 came and I still had no vehicle, I began to shop around. Upon arriving at Mercedes of Sarasota, I was greeted by an extremely friendly and no nonsense staff. I ordered a Mercedes and drove it away from the dealership a simple two days later. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to be treated well and taken seriously.

They nickel and dime you to death. They don’t honor the quoted price for parts. Got a Aux Battery replacement they charge another 60% of the battery cost to install it, which only takes 3-5 minutes, and a disposal fee of $25 when I could have disposed of it for free at the station on Lena Rd. Don’t buy a battery at M/B of Sarasota you will get taken with all the extra costs. I’m now looking for another garage with qualified M/B mechanics to service my car. I did replace a damaged wheel at the same time and got what I expected at the cost I was quoted including the cost to remount and balance the tire. I was always willing, and expected to pay a higher price going to the dealership to get the correct parts and service. But, the last couple of times I did they always seemed to come up with recommendations for additional work they would cost thousands even though some of the services were done by them in earlier service visits, and not done well if I needed them done again.

I brought my vehicle in on a Wednesday because I had I mail in my tire. I was told by my Service advisor, Chris, that they were way to busy. I should come back Thursday and be prepared to leave the vehicle for 2-3 hours. I asked if I could make/ needed and appointment and Chris quickly told me know. My husband took off a half day from work to take me the hour trek to the dealership and leave my vehicle for 2-3 hours. We went to lunch , went to his office and after 2 hours I called to check on progress. The person answering the phone couldn?t give me any information. The phone randomly at Chris?s extension long enough that it was sent back. They said he was with a customer but he would call me. An hour later ( 3 hour point) no call. I call back and they said Chris was busy but they would email him to call me. 30 minutes later he goes! My vehicle had ? not been seen and probably would not be on this day. ? My husband and I went to pick up the vehicle. I didn?t know when I could waste another day doing this again anytime soon. I really wanted to speak to Chris. He tried to avoid me by having someone else bring me my keys. I decided I?d like to wait and chat. Meanwhile I asked to speak to service managers. They were both unavailable. Chris spent another 13 min on current phone call, likely hoping I?d leave. When he finally hung up, I asked him why he didn?t let me know of the issue so I could at least pick up my vehicle. He has no answer. I asked him what his plan had been for keeping me updated. He gave a pompous and uncaring smirk. I have never seen such an embarrassing excuse for service at a high end dealership. GO TO TAMPA!!! This place is a poor excuse for what Mercedes claims to provide!!!!!

I took my car in for regular service. I live over one hour from the dealership so I made my appointment for the first day that they had a loaner available. When I got to the dealership they were out of Mercedes loaners because other customers had not returned their loaners on time, so I had to wait for over 30 minutes for a rental agency to come pick me up to take me to their lot to get a car. They didn't have a car ready so I had to wait for them to clean one for me to use. I was not happy. Of course Mercedes paid for the rental but when I returned it to pick up my car, they also gave me 10% off of my bill for my inconvenience!

I recently bought a 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA from another dealership and had an issue with the sunroof the day I got it. The dealership I bought it from refused to help me so I contacted Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota, they were very professional and helpful and were able to fix the sunroof, there was an issue when I picked it up the first time but they took it right back and were able to fix it free of charge. They were quick and very responsive with any questions I had. I highly recommend them for any needs.

We took our car into the dealership for a service A. They were extremely nice and very helpful. They kept us informed and would 100% recommend the people in the service dept. Here is why I would never go back. We had a check engine light on. It turned out we needed a crank case vent tube. They quoted us 2500$ for that replacement. 2000$ for the part and $500 for labor. Fcp euro has the genuine MB part for $82 shipped. $1900 markup is not ok. Everyone is struggling with rising costs and that’s the tactics they use. You should be ashamed.

The service was good, they provided a loaner, everything was on time. Only one thing that make me less happy is they charged me extra $59.95 because off I canceled the appointment on 7/7/2022 without let me know at the time they gave me the bill. For the cancellation of the appointment on 7/7/2022, I did called them on 7/5/2022, telling them I had Covid and want to cancel it because I don?t want to spread the Covid out. I also emailed them on 7/5/2022 to cancel the appointment with the same reason ( of course I still keep the email and phone record and willing to present if they asked me)
